Who are we?

Dr. Andrés Roberto Peláez Cruz

He studied medicine and surgery at the Central University of Ecuador and later specialized in Clinical Neurophysiology at the University Hospital of Burgos.
At the end of his residency, he completed the intraoperative monitoring fellowship in the department of Intraoperative Neurophysiology at Mount Sinai Hospital in New York. For two and a half years he trained and acquired various knowledge and extensive experience in monitoring cases of supratentorial and infratentorial brain surgery, spine, peripheral nerve and vascular surgery.
Since then, he has collaborated as a moderator and speaker in various courses and conferences at the national and international level, and has also participated in various scientific publications.
He is currently part of the neurology service at the Germans Trias i Pujol hospital in Badalona, where he carries out his activity in the neuromuscular disorders unit as a specialist in intraoperative monitoring and neurophysiological diagnostic tests and studies.
